What does the ACADA Book Rate include?
ACADA-recommended pricing is based on our definitions for what the base services are, and is not designed to represent any variation for an individual salon's package pricing. Tap any service name in the results to see exactly what it includes at the estimated price.
Who maintains these prices?
ACADA maintains them from published cost data and its own service definitions. Members are not asked to agree on prices. The Book Rate is a reference a business may use when setting its own, and a business that charges above it is not doing anything wrong.
Why do prices vary by ZIP?
Prices move with a regional cost index built on published price parity data and local income, and a floor stops any market dropping more than 27 percent below the national average. Rent, wages and the income of the local client base are what move it. The method is printed in full on the how the Book Rate is built page.
